About the Artist: Randilee Golden

 

 

Randilee Serra Golden is a Fine and Graphic Artist living and working in Los Angeles California.  In 2002, she graduated from the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at Alfred University in Alfred, New York. While there she studied traditional drawing & painting, darkroom photography, ceramics, digital arts, graphic design, traditional printmaking, glass blowing, and neon lamp design.  In addition to earning her B.F.A., Randilee also earned her Masters of Science degree from Alfred in K-12 Arts Education in 2005.

After graduating from the Master's Program at Alfred, Randilee moved to Los Angeles, California. In 2006, she began teaching at Santa Susana Magnet High School in Simi Valley, as the  9-12 Visual Arts Teacher and Program Director.  While there, she taught Drawing & Painting, Advanced Drawing & Painting, Digital Photography, Animation, Advanced Animation, Basic Design and Senior Studio.  

In addition to working as a teacher, Randilee works as a freelance artist and graphic designer.  Over the course of her career, she has exhibited work in various galleries and shops across the country.  

As an artist, she enjoys working with a variety of methods and materials, and values  being a perpetual student of life and the Arts.
